Welcome to The Spinney Day Nursery Website. We hope that you will enjoy the journey through all the details that we have listed for you. The Nursery is owned by John and Alison Thomson who are both qualified teachers and who have taught in Cheshire for over 30 years.
What Makes Spinney Day Nursery Special?
There are many reasons why The Spinney Day Nursery is special. Over the twelve years that the nursery has been open it has become renowned for the quality of care that all children experience whilst at the Spinney, whether it is in one of the Nurseries or in the Breakfast, After School and Holiday Clubs which are located at the Bell Meadow site. The nursery goes that little bit further in both supporting families in many ways and in the pursuit of excellence. The nursery boasts a most impressive staff retention record, which we believe has been the foundation to its success. Staff are encouraged in the pursuit of appropriate qualifications. There are many more benefits that only a visit to one or both of the nurseries can capably illustrate.
Our Aim
The aim of The Spinney Day Nursery is to create a safe, secure, happy environment, which has the social and emotional development of the individual child at the centre of its ethos. A place where each child can develop freely at his or her own pace, guided by the staff assigned to each group. We constantly strive to meet our motto of 'Care, Attention & Development'.
