Welcome to The Spinney Day Nursery Website. The Spinney has two nurseries, our original one in Hoole Village, The Spinney Hoole Village, and our new Nursery in Bell Meadow, Pulford, Nr Chester, The Spinney Bell Meadow. Both nurseries are run using the same ethos with the family at the centre of its focus.
The Spinney Day Nursery is owned by John and Alison Thomson who are both qualified teachers and who have taught in Cheshire for over 30 years and has achieved an enviable reputation over the time the nurseries have been open. The Spinney is more than just a nursery for it seeks not just to achieve the highest standards of childcare for every individual child but also to support parents and families by being as flexible as possible.

The Spinney - Hoole Village was opened in February 1997 and during this period has shown a steady development to what it is today. The Nursery is based on a 'family' setting, the premises having been built with this in mind. We have a very stable staff who we value as they have achieved the highest standards of child care over the twelve years we have been open.
The Spinney - Bell Meadow was opened in August 2008, housed in a Business Park that is reminiscent of the set of Emmerdale. The Spinney Bell Meadow is housed in a new building which affords the very highest quality of provision.
There is a very happy atmosphere in both nurseries which make them very welcoming and has proven to be very supportive to new members of the nursery, both children and adults!
